Harley NCAR #1089
Harley is a friendly, 18-20 month old, 45 pound black tri who was picked up as a stray in Red Bluff. No one came for him, so a kind volunteer pulled him for us.
He took to our groomer very well, is fine with other dogs, and will be neutered as soon as he gets over his kennel cough. So far, I haven't seen any fetching skills, but he does know how to sit and will come when called. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Quincy NCAR #1071
Quincy is an elderly gent who was picked up by Animal Control in Lincoln. He sat at the Placer County shelter for 2 weeks before I found out about him. The shelter vet cleaned his teeth, pulled a few and Quincy now has pearly whites! Our vet guessed him at 12-13 years of age.
Our vet also determined that he has some arthritis in his spine that we are treating with Rimadyl. He also has a neurological disorder that makes him over step or walk with a lot of deliberation. He's housebroken and can be around other animals.
His hips are perfect, he's a happy dude and we're putting a little weight on him....but not too much! His hearing and eye sight are failing, and we're looking for a nice home where he can live out the rest of his life in comfort. I like Quincy! Fostered in Grass Valley.
