There is no rescue group in CA for Miniature American Shepherds. Without knowing much about them, we took 4 very timid Miniature American Shepherds in May. They have been altered and microchipped now and need a lot of work to overcome their fears. They did not go anywhere, meet people or spend any time on a leash. We have Handsome and Putt who are 2.5 year old brothers and we have Cleo who is 3.5 years, and her daughter, Freckles who is 1.5 years old. The males and females are not related.

Putt is not quite as timid as his brother Handsome and will quickly take a treat from my hand and run away. Putt-Putt is a blue merle and 28 pounds. He allows me to pet him, but doesn?t solicit pets. Fostered in Grass Valley.
