Bella NCAR #1001
Bella lives with Leah and Ken in Fiddletown where she will be with them all the time, travel in their motorhome and run on their 5 fenced acres. Bella will continue agility too!

Bella is a 5 year old black tri who is agility trained and in great shape. She is Mooses daughter (see above posting) and came to the Sanctuary after her owner passed away.

Bella is a very different from her Mom. As soon as she got out of the car here at the Sanctuary, she barked and behaved nervously. She also guarded Moose as well as her people when my dogs got close. She needs a capable handler who will work with her to desensitize her to dogs in her space, and teach her that she needs not worry so much.

Bella has 2 blue eyes, is about 43 pounds and used to living inside and out. She's pretty good on a leash, but does have dog reactivity when dogs come to close to her and her handler.

If youre looking for an agility prospect, or simply an active, bossy Aussie, Bella fits the bill. Heres a video proving she can do agility!

Shiloh NCAR#997
Shiloh is a 17 pound Mini Aussie who was left behind with his 3 brothers when his breeder moved away. He is cute as can be, and loves handling and petting. Just like his brother, Shiloh would benefit from an obedience class or two, and regular leash walks to build up his confidence. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Chance
Chance is a lovely 65 pound black tri whose owner has to give him up because she moved into a small house with her family and 5 other dogs. Hes the biggest one in the group and as we all know, love to be with his person! He gets along with all the dogs and the cats in the home, and seems to be an easy going boy. He pulls on a leash and would do best on an easy walk harness or gentle leader. Hes calm in the house and a good car traveler. Chance is in Sacramento. Application required.

Moose NCAR #1000
Sweet Moose is adored by Robert and Elaine. They lost their last Aussie last year at age 15 and were beginning to look for another to love when they saw Moose posted on our website. Moose will be with her new Mom and Dad 24/7 and go on long leash walks and have grandchildren who will gush over her. She may even do a little agility in her new home too!

Moose is a 10 year old red merle girl who earned her Agility Championship. Shes extremely agile and in great shape although has a laid back temperament. Her owner passed away and asked her friends to bring her and her daughter, Bella to us. (see Bella below).

She is used to living inside and outside, has great manners, fine with other dogs. Moose has good leash manners and would be a great companion for an active person who wants a well-trained Aussie. She can still do agilityalthough she is not a driven girl - she already earned many ribbons and trophies.

Eli NCAR #998
Eli lives in Petaluma and loves his big sister and new Mom & Dad. YAY!

Eli is a 19 pound, mini Aussie we rescued from a desperate living situation. Eli and his 3 brothers were left behind when their breeder moved away. Eli is 4 years old, very sweet, anxious for petting and loving and simply needs to learn to walk on a leash and other basic things that he never got a chance to learn. Patience, love and obedience classes are all he needs. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Monty NCAR #947
Monty is an energetic and springy 12 year old black bi who came from the Kings County shelter. He's about 50 lbs. He loves toys and tennis balls and will fetch forever...even in the pond! He also likes chewing a toy or a tennis ball....a lot.

He loves to hang out in my van, or near our pond or on the deck. He is a VERY good jumper and needs 5 foot fencing. I took him off leash hiking and he explored everything....had to put him on leash so we could leave though...he was having a great time!

He likes all visitors at the Sanctuary, is not a clingy Aussie at all, pretty independent. He's housebroken, easy going and an all around nice boy. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Smoky NCAR #984
JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS! Lucky Smoky lives in Davis with Linda, Jim and his brother, Cooper. Hell be surrounded by his new family all the time and get to go on hikes and road trips with them.

Smoky was surrendered to the shelter for killing a chicken. Hes about 4 years old, is a strapping 72 pound blue merle and likes people a lot. He was left outside 24/7 and was not neutered. He also wasnt on preventatives because he tested positive for Lyme and Heartworm disease.
We treated him for Lyme, and he just finished his heartworm treatment and is now ready for his forever home. He's a big boy who walks well with an easy-walk harness. He's good off leash and loves car rides. He's pretty pushy, so obedience classes and consistency will do wonders for him. This boy loves everyone he meets! Fostered in Grass Valley.
