The list of adopted aussies is growing fast! Wonderful for the dogs but hard to show all on one page. We have split up the past adoptions by month. Use the links to see all our wonderful adoptions and adoptions we have assisted.

Oso Sacramento SPCA
Oso is a gentle affectionate fellow who loves to be outside running and playing. One of Oso's favorite games is fetch and he loves to catch his toys on the fly. Oso is affectionate, sweet and calm. He can be a little shy at first but that quickly goes away once playing and exploring begins.

Oso is an older lad and would do best in a somewhat active home with adults and older children. He would do best as an only dog. Oso knows lots of commands but a little training would help him build his confidence and learn even more.

Cinnie NCAR #909
Cinnie and Bhodie landed their dream home with Chet and Diane in Auburn. The kids are with their Mom and Dad all the time, and get to spend summers in Montana, too! YAY!

This darling red tri responded to Cinnie, so I named her Cinnamon! Literally handed over by a homeless man to a groomer in West Sacramento, Cinnie has adapted very well to life at the Sanctuary. She is eager to play with anyone and everyone, loves running fast, will fetch, sit and shake. She's maybe 2 years old and about 43 pounds. She's just a love and full of energy and smiles. I really like this girl! Fostered in Grass Valley.

Bhodie NCAR #909
Cinnie and Bhodie landed their dream home with Chet and Diane in Auburn. The kids are with their Mom and Dad all the time, and get to spend summers in Montana, too! YAY!

Bhodie is a 3-year-old, darling blue merle who was raised with children, likes everyone, and knows basic commands. He's doing well in our beginning agility class, is very loyal and just gorgeous. He's about 46 lbs, plays with playful dogs, and does well off leash, unless he sees a deer! He came to us because he barks at wildlife and will dart out the door to chase deer. He also sometimes barks at other dogs and pulls towards them on leash walks, but does well on a sensible walking harness. Fostered in grass valley.

Beau NCAR #911
Beau is a playful, energetic Mini black tri Aussie boy who turns 1 year old on March 3, 2014. He got out of his yard too many times and his owners can't afford new fencing. The neighbor became irate, so Beau is here with us. He's about 34 pounds, has a gorgeous curly coat, has been coddled a bit and would benefit from some obedience classes. He's crate trained, plays with most of the dogs who'll wrestle with him, and is a loving boy. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Bernard NCAR #XXX
Bernard is a 35 pound, handsome mini Aussie who was adopted from us 6 months ago. He was returned because he was too energetic for the people. He's also overly focused on food, and will counter surf and break into closets if he smells food. He's housebroken, crate trained, good off leash and likes people. He's not great with small children will avoid them. He's doing well in our Beginning Agility classes and making lots of friends! Fostered in Grass Valley.
