Winnie NCAR#1082
We rescued Winnie from the Santa Cruz County shelter where she was picked up as a stray. No one came for this sweet senior. The shelter vet determined that her skin growths were a concern, and that she should be rescued by a group rather than adopted to the public. Our vet surgically removed 9 of her skin growths and sent 6 to the lab for biopsy. All were benign, but she will always have these skin growths which do not hurt her and according to our vet, do not need to be removed. Winnie is a delightful 9-10 year old red tri girl who weighs 50 pounds and enjoys walks and car rides. Fostered in Granite Bay.

Maxwell
This red tri pup was left in the night box at the Hollister Shelter. A kind volunteer picked him up and drove him to us. Alice and Mike were looking for a fun, non challenging Aussie to add to their family and this boy was perfect. Reese, adopted from us 8 years ago also approves of Astro and lucky for me, they all live in Grass Valley!
