Cody NCAR # 890
Cody was surrendered to the Sacramento County Animal Shelter because he wasn't getting along with the new puppy they bought. He's almost 12 years old, has a beautiful red coat that was badly matted, his teeth were decayed and his breath smelled awful. He's a mini Aussie who was 10 pounds overweight and is now down to a healthy weight and is enjoying life in his foster home in Walnut Creek. We had his teeth cleaned and a Senior blood panel and he's quite healthy!
He likes leash walks, wants to be with his foster mom and dad all the time, is good in the car and at the vet. He's a great, loving boy! Cody is being fostered in Walnut Creek.

Snickers
Snickers is a 3 year old, 48 pound black tri with her tail who has been raised around children. Unfortunately, neighbors are complaining that Snickers barks too much when playing with the children in her own yard, and life has become awful for the family. Snickers only barks when playing, she's quiet if left alone in the yard.
This girl is built for exercise and would do well in obedience, agility or anything that will stimulate her mind. Snickers is in Morgan Hill. Application required.

Stormy NCAR #953
Stormy is a 1-year-old, 60-pound blue merle who we found on Craig's List - He had been given away 3 times already and we wanted to stop the madness! Personally, I think he's average activity level, but needs to learn not to jump up on people. He's enthusiastic, likes people and all dogs, knows sit, and would do well in an obedience class or two. He's very loving, looks like he's gotten into trouble before and feels comfortable under the deck. I'm happy to have him here so he can find a wonderful, forever home. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Katie NCAR #958
Katie is a 3 year old blue merle whose elderly owners over fed her till she reached almost 90 pounds. She blew out both her knees, and when the vet explained about Katies post surgery after care, her owners opted to put her down. The vet called us and we had her signed over to us.
We paid for her surgery and for 2 weeks of in house physical therapy. She took a long time to be able to walk, but shes doing much better now! Shes down to 75 pounds and actually runs! She will probably need 3 or 4 more months to reach her goal weight of 45 lbs. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Neo
Neo is a toy black bi Aussie born 7/23/14. He was purchased at 4 months old, and needs work to overcome his fears of other dogs. After only 20 minutes with him, I saw him overcome much of his fear aggression, but he needs daily outings and positive training. He's only 11 pounds, should grow to be about 15-16 pounds.
Neo's owner is not able to keep him, and is doing a great job desensitizing him. He would like us to find someone who will continue building his confidence and give him plenty of exercise. He rings a bell to go out to potty, knows sit and will play fetch. He will be neutered at 6 months of age. Neo is in Sacramento. Application required.

Jasper NCAR#920
Jasper is just 15 months old and smart as can be! We had him neutered, and he weighs about 43 pounds. Jasper plays fetch endlessly, drops the ball in front of you, and can anticipate where youll throw or kick it! He also loves our pond.
He grew up in a multi-generational home and grew less and less tolerant of the toddler. He growled several times, then nipped him in the face.
Jasper would be an excellent performance dog: agility, flyball, obedience, or all three! Hes that smart and that coordinated-and would do great with an experienced owner. GOOD WITHC ATS! Fostered in Grass Valley.
