Star NCAR #482
STAR lives with Mary Lou in Sacramento. Both her son and grand daughter came along and it was a unanimous decision!
Lucky STAR will be Mary Lous constant companion and that makes them both happy.
Star is a 2-3 year old Aussie/Cattle Dog and possibly Border Collie mix with her fluffy tail. Shes Velcro, affectionate and a bit hesitant to greet strangers, but will warm up. I gave her a bath and she climbed up the stairs and sat nicely in our raised tub and seemed to enjoy the experience.
She came into the Los Banos shelter and its evident she recently had a little of pups. She will be spayed and then available for adoption by the end July, but you can meet her now. Seems to ignore cats. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Rusty
Rusty is an 8 month old Border Collie, he lives up to his name, he's got that rusty colored coat w/white patches. Blue Bell
Blue Bell is a gorgeous Aussie about 1 year old and 45 pounds. She sits on command, loves to walk on the leash, and has lots of energy like the working dog she was bred to be. Toby NCAR # 458
 Toby lives with Betty and Smoky who live on a small horse ranch. Toby will get tons of loving and go on car trips and vacations with his new mom and dad. He jumped right into their car and didnt look back!
Toby is a 7 year old blue merle with docked tail. Hes neutered, up to date on vaccines, very smart and very pushy. Patch often follows his lead! He's more reactive, will play with dogs, and has some separation anxiety, meaning that if he's in the house and I go out and close the door, he'll bark or scratch at the door. He's a Velcro boy all right.

Reno
We have had Reno since he was 8-10 weeks old. Now that he's 10 months old,
he's developed a bad habit of breaking out of the yard and going into the
street. We live on a busy street in Lodi and we can't seem to contain him or
make him stop. He gets regular exercise at the dog park and leash walks, but
he insists on breaking out of the yard. We fear for his safety and would
like to find him a good home.

Noellie NCAR #341 (used to be Noel) Puppy mill Aussie
 Debra, Tigger and Nellie
Noellie, as we call her, is an 8 year old blue merle (sister to Layla, Tess and Sydney Jr. - all adopted) with the most unique eyes we've ever seen.
They are half brown and half blue, and each eye is divided differently. Noel delivered three pups at the
Sanctuary (Reddy, Muffin and Punkin) and all have found terrific homes.
Noellie rarely barks... but is beginning to play with the other dogs now and barks when she's happy or wants you to throw the ball. She's used to being the lowest on the puppy mill totem pole, but now she's a bit more confident and showing her playful side. She does, however, get overly excited when playing and has an annoying habit of nipping at your hand or leg when she wants you to throw the ball or stick. I'm working on this with her, but I don't think it will entirely go away, so I think an adult home is best for Noel.
She's very sweet and ready to hop in the van for a road trip. She's greeting strangers now and will solicit a quick pat on the head. She loves to romp off leash with me and the other Aussies and checks in often. She LOVES to swim! This girl is a delight besides being absolutely gorgeous. She spent her whole live giving
birth and it's fun to see her let loose!

Oscar
Oscar is Pekingese and Poodle mix. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is about 25 lbs, and about 12 inches tall.
He does not shed and will need grooming and clipping on a regular basis. He is darn cute. He seems to be well mannered and minds fairly well. He does well in a crate. He would love to chase a cat, if the cat runs. His previous owner reports that he does like to play, and he came with a whole bag of toys. Previous owner has had him since he was a little pup, and was heartbroken to have to give him up, but really had no choice. He previously lived in a household with an older dog, and annoyed the older dog with his young dog energy.

Dakota #479
Dakota lives with Sue and Dave in Union City where hell start obedience classes, get to swim in his wading pool and go romping in the open space in the East Bay. Dakota is so deserving of this experienced, loving home!
Dakota is a 1 year old blue merle who lived with children and birds and cats. Hes fun, still puppyish, and learning how to be an inside/outside dog. He was too much responsibility for his family, so they entrusted us to find him a great home where hell get training, guidance and regular exercise. Hes about 15 pounds overweight at 70 lbs and will trim down with measured food and regular exercise. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Reese lives with Jean in Sacramento where shell get to swim in her pond anytime she wants! Shes also neighbors with a young Aussie boy who shell play with often. This makes Reese VERY happy!
Reese is a 3 year old blue merle girl who weighs about 44 pounds. Shes very loving and moderaly active. She loves our hikes in the Sierras, has good recall and is an all around nice girl. Shes a bit barky around strangers, but never aggressivejust wants to alert the world! Fostered in Grass Valley.
