Chief NCAR #972
Chief and his brother Marshall came to us because their owner died. They are 1 1/2 year old mini Aussies with their tails. Chief is very sweet, likes all people and just a bit less confident than Marshall. He's about 30 pounds, has his tail and very loving.

We don't know how he'd be with cats, and he can be with children 10 and over. Fostered in Grass Valley. We think it's best they go to different homes.

***ADOPTED 7/28***

Zoey NCAR #974
Zoey was brought into our vet's office by a man who found her running loose. She has had a serious injury to her muzzle which left scarring but it doesn't seem to bother her. She is 13 pounds and very sweet and friendly. We're guessing long haired Chihuahua and Jack Russell mix.

She's mellow, likes sleeping on the couch, is housebroken and doesn't bark much. We had her spayed, microchipped, brought up to date on shots and she's doing well in foster care. Fostered in Redwood Valley.

Chloe

Chloe could not live in the city where the noises frightened her. We were asked to find her a quiet home where she wouldnt have to suffer through fireworks, car backfires and loud parties. Steve from Santa Cruz fell instantly for Chloe and they are constant companions.

***ADOPTED***
Becca

Becca came to a familys door out in the country near Fresno. She was full of foxtails and moving kind of slow. They looked for her owners for 5 days, and on the 6th day, Becca delivered 5 puppies! She was a great mama and the puppies found great homes. Becca came to the Sanctuary and was adopted by a couple whose Aussie (from NCAR) passed away in March. Everyone is happy!

***ADOPTED***
Marshall NCAR #973

Marshall went home to Danville with his new family who adore him! He has boys who play fetch with him as much as he likes and will start obedience classes with his new Mom very soon! YAY!

Marshall and his brother, Chief came to us because their owner died. They are 1 1/2 year old mini Aussies with their tails. They are fun, sweet, playful and love all people.

Marshall is more confident of the two, and he weighs about 29 pounds. He plays fetch, plays with his brother and some of the other young ones here. Don't know how he is with cats; children over 10 OK. Fostered in Grass Valley. We think it's best they go to different homes.

Zeus NCAR #971
Zeus is a darling 9 month old red merle boy who lived with a family with young children. Sadly, his family fell on hard times and couldn't afford to keep him. He likes playing, swimming, fetching and likes all people.

He's on the smaller side and may mature to be a 45-50 pound adult. He lived with a cat and always wanted to play/chase it. Fostered in Grass Valley.
