Roscoe NCAR #1057
Roscoe is a small, 5 year old black tri whose owners couldnt stop him from bolting out the front door. With a 4 year old child, seems the door was always being opened, and Roscoe seized the opportunity! They knew he wasnt getting enough exercise or attention.
He is very sweet, learning to come when called and is used to living as an only dog. He is learning to play, but still shows some food and toy guarding with some of the other Aussies, but never with me. He chases butterflies and likes the car and hanging in the house.

Benny NCAR #1052
Benny had three homes and three name changes before he came here. He is only 18 months old, and is a loving, energetic and bouncy Aussie/BC mix. He was kept outside in a dog run for most of the day, then allowed in at night. He wasnt happy being alone for so long and found ways to escape and run around the neighborhood. He got passed around from neighbor to neighbor before we received a call for help.
He is going through obedience classes at the Sanctuary and doing VERY WELL! He'd do best with another playful, well trained dog or an only dog with someone who has lots of time for him and lots of patience. He needs a person to love him and he'll do great! Fostered in Grass Valley.

LACEY
Lacey is a 2 year old Blue Merle girl with her tail. She weighs 46 pounds, is a friendly girl, and likes to play with children and toys. She is a smarty pants and knows: Sit, Lie Down, Get your Ball, Get your Stick, Get your Rope, Come and knows names for some of her toys. She can run a couple of miles with her person daily and is a good girl. Lacey can guard her food from other dogs, but in the right home, she could live with another playful dog.
