Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea was sited in Applegate and wouldnt come to anyone. She was trapped and brought to the Placer County shelter where she stayed for a week and was put up for adoption. She started shutting down, so staff called and I zoomed down to pick her up. We kept her for 2 weeks, she came out of her shell and showed us shes a sweet, car-loving, leash trained girl!y

***ADOPTED***
Sheila
Sheila lives with Gwen in Martinez. Sheila is good with Gwens horse and her cat and is exactly the kind of Aussie girl Gwen was looking for!

Sheila is a 7 year old black tri who is darling, smart and about 40 pounds. She knows: sit, stay, wait, off, shake, touch (nose to hand), drop, down, and Drop It! She lives with another dog and two cats, although cats can find her annoying.

Grandchildren have become part of her household and Sheila is unpredictable around them. Sadly, her people have asked us to find her an adult only home. Sheila does not like to be hugged.

Great companion dog for someone who likes doing off leash activities with his/her Aussie! Fostered in Grass Valley.

Rocco NCAR #1007
Rocco lives in Modesto with Norma and his new equine brother, Woody. Its a love fest!

Rocco's owner died and none of the family members took him in. He's 3 years old, a well put-together big boy at 70 pounds. He could stand to lose about 10 pounds...

He loves swimming, fetching, took grooming quite well and rode in the car well too. He'll be neutered 2/17 and available for adoption2/22. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Manni

Manni is just as cute and plump as can be. He and his brother Peyton were abandoned by their breeder. Hes friendly, doesnt know anything, but who cares when youre so cute! He ate WAY too much over the years and has no neck!

We had his thyroid tested, and it's normal, so maybe with regular exercise and measure food he'll drop 6 or 7 pounds! He's 26 pounds now. Breeder left his tail for reasons unknown.
Manni really looks like he has some Pomeranian in his blood lines. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Oliver NCAR #1011
Oliver is a shy and sweet, small black tri boy. He will be 2 years old this April. He likes to fetch a ball, enjoys petting and likes being around me. He hasnt any leash training, and is still reluctant to come in the house. Hell be neutered and ready for adoption in mid-March. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Lady NCAR #984
Lady is an 8 year old black tri girl whose owners took her to their vet to be put down because they "didn't have time for her and she snores."

Lady lived her entire life outside and had nothing to do but eat and her owners let her reach 80 pounds. The kind vet didn't put her down and instead got her up to date on shots and shaved about 30 pounds off of her! She even gave Lady a tummy-tuck!

Lady is the sweetest! She loves snuggling and will melt your heart! She is about 50 pounds and is on a slight dose of thyroid meds. Her food aggression has lessened considerably since she has been here, but I would not put her in a home with small children. She's happy and good with all people and children, but I would not place her in a home with children under 12 due to the food issue. She'd be a great family dog where she'd be the only one soaking up the love. She's really great with cats. Fostered in Sacramento.

He has inflammatory bowel disease which is under control with limited ingredients dog food and treats, and a small dose of a steroid daily.

Hes housebroken, likes car rides, not destructive, and very agile.
