Vito

Beau NCAR #1042
Beau is approximately 10 years old and is blind. We've taken him to our opthalmologist and there is no surgery that will give him sight. Hes a handsome blue merle who was found in San Jose.

He is Velcro, loves everyone he meets and will ask for belly rubs! He stays close, is easy on a leash and would do well with a well behaved, friendly dog who he will feel comfortable with if humans arent around. Hed do best with people who have a safe, comfortable yard and one story house. I am certain he was attacked by other dogs due to being intact and blind...so understandably, he can be defensive when meeting new dogs and is not a candidate for dog parks. He's fine in a yard alone or with another dog for stretches of time. He plays nicely with dogs that he knows and that don't threaten him.

Hes happiest being close to me and does very well navigating around the Sanctuary. Beau is a very loving boy. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Clara NCAR #1084
Clara and her brother Ben (see posting below) were picked up as strays in Nevada. They had no tags or microchips. Clara is sweet, not a fan of other dogs getting too close and tested positive for Heartworm. Because treatment can take 60 days, she is not up for adoption at this time.
