Marley NCAR #807
Marley went home to Mill Valley with Dave, his wife, and two sons. Marley will start obedience classes at Marin Humane and get daily walks and plenty of love from his new family!
Marley is a black tri boy who turned 6 months old on May 7. He was too much dog for a young family and they asked if we would find him a great home with older children or no children, where he'd continue training, get lots of exercise and structure.
He was a bit nippy with the young child in his former home. Marley is crate trained and likes to play fetch, and LOVES to play with other playful dogs. Fostered in Grass Valley. Contact: Kim at kim@norcalaussierescue.com

Izzi NCAR #803
Izzi will turn 1 year old on May 28. She is half mini Aussie and ½ mini poodle. Her people have changed their living situation and can no longer provide her with the time and attention she needs.
Izzi's personality is awesome and she has proven herself to be great with children. She's playful with other dogs, has been clicker trained and took a few agility classes.
She's a doll who wants to jump up and greet every person who walks in the door. She needs guidance and continued training to curb her enthusiasm! Fostered in Grass Valley.

Mickey NCAR #646
Mickey July 14th
Mickey is a blind, 9-10 year old blue merle with his tail. His family was unable to care for him, so we rescued him. He had a dreadful allergy that medication and antibiotics resolved. He had no fur at all, and now his coat is thick and luxurious, yet he does have episodess where he scratches very hard. We consulted with an allergist and dermitologist and are still not sure of the cause.
Fostered inGrass Valley.

Lily NCAR #792
Lily came into the Yolo County shelter as a stray. No one came for her, which is a blessing because she shows signs of severe neglect. Her front teeth are completely worn down from chewing on fleas, and her back has little hair from flea bite dermatitis. She's happy here, no more chewing and loves to be by my side every moment possible. She's totally deaf and may have limited vision, but is certainly not blind.
She's 16- 24 months old, about 34 pounds, has a gorgeous blue merle coat and does like to play fetch. She's not really playful with other dogs and stays away from them more than engages with them. Darling little girl! Fostered in Grass Valley.

Ginger NCAR #809
Ginger is a laid back, sweet mini black tri whose owner lost his home and had to surrender her to the Lassen County shelter. She will turn 6 years old in May, 2012.
Ginger is about 40 pounds, looing and sweet and will play with playful dogs. She's very friendly and interested in all visitors to the Sanctuary. She spent a lot of time in their owner's truck, is good with cats and kids. Ginger would do best as an only dog or with an easy going male.
Fostered in Grass Valley.

Tara NCAR Puppy #31
Tara is 15 pounds and 14 weeks old. She wandered on to a woman's property in Hanford. No one was looking for her, so we were called. She's WICKED smart and ULTRA confident. Our guess is she's Aussie, Border Collie and Cattle Dog. With the right owner, this puppy could grow up to be an amazing dog. She holds her own around her toys and will push any dog away from his/her food bowl, so she eats separately! She isn't aggressive at all with people and sits, comes and hasn't gone potty in the house once! Tara is in Grass Valley.
