Big Boy NCAR #1159
BigBoy (Buddy) is 9 years old and brother to Tucker. His owner died so we took him in. Hes pretty easy going, and friendly with all people and children. He doesnt like pushy dogs in his face and will let them know it! He gets along famously with his brother and most dogs. Hes 60+ pounds and low key. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Frankie NCAR #1054
Frankie is a 1.5 year old Aussie mix with his tail. He's about 36 pounds, fairly average activity level and housebroken. He was purchased with his littermate and he started to fight with him. The owner asked us for help, so we took him in.
His owner used a shock collar on him when he chased after deer. He ran with his owner and is used to lots of exercise. I'm working on getting his attention with treats and giving him praise for coming to me. He's ok with the dogs here, but I feel he would really enjoy being an only dog soaking up all the attention and training. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Rudy NCAR #71
Rudy is a black tri lapdog who also will chase a ball. Hes only 10 pounds and one of the Miniature American Shepherds we rescued. He was born 1/29/16 and is MaeMaes brother. Rudy is crate trained and on the timid side with new people, but coming around nicely.Fostered in Grass Valley.

Tiggie NCAR #1158
Tiggie is only 12 pounds and one of the Miniature American Shepherds we rescued. Tiggie was born 12/21/15, so she's 2 years old.
She has become very lovey with me and follows me everywhere. Shes still on the timid side meeting new people. Shes crate trained and a sweet companion. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Nikki NCAR #1053
Nikki is 9 years old and supposedly a miniature Aussie we cant confirm. She was a companion dog to an elderly woman who passed away three years ago. Nikki went to live with the daughter and for the last three years, spent 10 hours per day alone. We were called to find her a home where she could be with someone and live a more fulfilling life.
Nikki fetches, plays with playful dogs, or hangs out in the house. Shes ultra sweet, about 40 pounds and loves everyone. She's a doll who can live with cats, too! Fostered in Sacramento.
