Tucker
Courtesy Listing

Tucker is a 9 year old red merle who weights about 55 pounds. He is on Fluoxetine medication for anxiety because he didnt like being left alone. Now that his people work from home, hes in Heaven! He has lunged and nipped at the toddler in his home, so weve been asked to find him an adult only home. Tucker plays Frisbee, is very loving and would love to be in a home where he can be with his people. Tucker is in Pleasant Hill.

RIVER NCAR#1207

River was surrendered to us because owners purchased him for their son during COVID and now the son is off to college. River is 20 months old, very sweet and has been coddled and over fed. He came in at 50 pounds, and is currently 44 pounds and on his way to 37 pounds. We had him neutered and during his exam, the vet found ear polyps. The polyps are not irritated or infected, and don?t bother River. Polyps are growths that are usually benign and are usually due to allergie, but we have an appointment for him at our dermatologist in June for a precise diagnosis.

River is OK with other dogs, yet sometimes shows barrier aggression if the dog is barking. He sometimes lunges and barks at people on leash walks ? we?re not sure if it?s aggression or excitement ? but he needs a person to work to desensitize him on leash walks ? have him sit for treats as people walk by. River has an iffy recall, but is mostly glued to me and very affectionate. He?s housebroken, utd on vaccines, likes to snuggle and likes leash walks. He loves playing fetch and has made friends here and spends more time outside with them without missing me as much! Fostered in Grass Valley.
