Sunny came into the Sacramento County shelter with a broken leg. County vet called and asked us to take her so she could have surgery. We were able to get her into VCA the next day where she had a rod and pins put in and wore a splint for 8 weeks. She has healed nicely and should be walked on leash through the end of April. Shes a fun, dominant girl who is about 2 years old, 48 pounds and smart. She will dominate submissive female dogs, but wants to initiate play with confident, playful dogs.

Rozi was dumped out in the country near Galt. Her finder tried to find Rozis owner for 3 weeks with no success. Rozi had no microchip, ID tags nor did she have any training. Rozi is about 15 months old, 36 pounds, and a very happy, loving girl who likes to play Catch Me If You Can which can be frustrating if you are trying to get her to come to you! Rozi needs gentle guidance to get over her fear of the leash. Shes an absolute doll.
