BAILEY
Three year old Bailey is a spayed female red-tri Border collie/Aussie. A beautiful "redhead", she loves exercise and will run like the wind! Good off-leash as well as on. Affectionate and protective, she has a great nose and is extremely smart! She responds well to treats and praise, eager to be a part of a familyeager to "belong." She is crate-trained, knows basic commands, is housebroken. She loves car rides! She's devoted and develops a strong bond to her people. All vaccinations are up to date and she's on HW preventative.

Bailey had very little companionship and guidance. Having no job or human interaction, she developed some common bad habits. Once in our foster care, she responded right away to exercise, a routine, and gentle encouragement. Her new human companion should have experience with herding dogs who've developed behaviors such as Bailey's (excessive guarding reactions and worrying)....and have patience and a sense of humor! Serious exercise several times a day is a must and we encourage her new companion to seek additional professional training for Bailey if the need arises.

She will do best in a home without frequent disruptions or loud noises. A country home without children, cats, or small dogs would be best for her. She has not been trained as a working dog, but she is young and smart - and motivated to learn new activities. For more information on Bailey, please contact Ellyn@hittgv.org or (209)795-4575

COOPER NCAR #755

Cooper went home with Bill and Nettie where hell live winters in the country and summers in the mountains! Hes one lucky boy who has his people around him 24/7!

Cooper is a 40 pound 3 year old black tri who was surrendered by his family because they have too many dogs. He was never taken anywhere and loves to stay right near his person. I saw him play tug of war with one of our kidsfirst time in 2 weeks! Hes headstrong, likes petting, is housebroken and fine in the house for hours.

He barks at strangers, then leaves them alone. I don't think he's a dog for a family with children. He likes to fetch and loves to chew bones. I dont know how he is off leash yetbut he's pretty good walking on a leash. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Brodie NCAR #753
Brodie lives in East Sac near the American River. Cy and Linda love Brodies easy-going demeanor and will take him on walks and car rides.

Brodie was a stray out of time at the Sac County Animal Shelter. Our Vet estimates him to be between 7-8 years old. This is a wonderful, MELLOW, gentle Aussie who is thriving in his foster home. He loves low key daily walks, knows how to use the dog door and gets along great with other dogs big or small. He would do best in a home without alot of stairs or slippery surfaces. We started him on joint medicine and hes responding very well. He isn't pushy for attention and enjoys being petted by strangers and children. Brodie is easy going and so deserving of a nice home. No cats. Fostered in Folsom.

Reddy

Buster

Reddy NCAR #765 and Buster NCAR #764

Pam and Dave wanted to adopt two, sweet Aussies and hit the jackpot with Reddy and Buster! Their children Garrett and Rachel have their own Aussie to spoil and thats just fine with Reddy and Buster who are living the good life in Fair Oaks.

Reddy and Buster are brothers who just turned 7 years old. They are fun, lived with kids, have had basic obedience and beginner agility training. They know Come, sit, stay, go.

They are friendly, curious and have been outside dogs. They both have lived with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and cows, although have chased livestock when together as pack of two! They love being petted and getting attention or being talked to.

Buster weighs 70 pounds, and Reddy weighed in at 80!! They are both losing weight here and both very sweet and loving. They are a fun pair who can be adopted together or separately. Fostered in Grass Valley. Contact: Kim at kim@norcalaussierescue.com
