Joey NCAR #991
Joey has a new Aussie brother named Ozzie and is having a good time in his new home in Sacramento. He may be doing agility soon, too!

Joey is 11 and as sweet as can be. He and Molly (above) were surrendered to us because their owner got too sick to care for them. We noticed they both were overdue for teeth cleaning, so now they have pearly whites and great breath! We are happy to invest almost $700 in their health care.

Joey is laid back, easy on a leash, about 46 pounds and in great shape. He's a good house dog and is fine with all the dogs here at the Sanctuary. I think he would chase cats. Fostered in Grass Valley. Contact: Kim at kim@norcalaussierescue.com

Bessie NCAR #996
Bessie lives in San Jose and will begin obedience classes soon. So far, shes loving her leash walks and sleeping on her bed next to her Mom and Dad.

Bessie is a 2 year old Aussie or Aussie mix with a brindle coat. Her owners told their neighbor she was headed to the shelter. Her family said they bought her from a breeder in Soledad and now 2 years lager, had no time for her. They never took her to a vet.
She is friendly with all humans, not too interested in playing with other dogs, but she may surprise us after she's been here for awhile.

Bessie is about 53 pounds, in good shap. We had her completely vetted and she's ready for her new home. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Tino NCAR #962
Tino is short for Valentino and he turned 9 years old on Valentine's Day, 2015! He's a big black tri who was abandoned by his owners when they moved. His neighbor took him in and asked us to find a home for him. He's incredibly Velcro and wants to be next to me all the time. He is barky if he is kenneled - he spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel and now that he has learned he can come in the house and be with his person, he prefers not to be in a kennel for long periods of time. He's good in the house.

He's fine with all my dogs, big and small - sometimes a bit awkward/anxious meeting new dogs, but for sure backs off if they tell him to! He likes to swim and LOVES the hose! Will leap like a gazelle to catch water shooting from the hose.

Tino is a Velcro Aussie who does well with consistency and gentle guidance. He also especially likes women. He walks well on a leash, and responds very well to commands and correction. Fostered in Grass Valley.
