Clancy NCAR #1036
Clancy lives in Nevada City with Betsy and Karl. He is blissfully happy and gets to take long walks in the woods!
Clancy was found in the country outside of Tracy. His finder brought him to the Tracy Shelter to see if he was microchipped, or if anyone was looking for him. Negative on both. She fostered him for 2 weeks while waiting for his owner to surface.
She asked us to take him and hes been with us since 9/23.
Hes about 2 years old, intact and 45 pounds. Hes friendly towards people and dogs, likes to stay close, is learning his name. This boy is another example of a neglected boy who ran away once too often. Clancy will be neutered 9/29 and ready for adoption by the second week of October. Hes a DOLL who is used to being on his own and now deserves a family who keeps him close. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Scooter NCAR# 1027
Scooter is 6 1/2 years old and lived most of her life outside. She was caught by Animal Control in Lassen County when she was only a year old, and somehow escaped from the shelter and found her way on to country property where she parked it under a junked car.
A kind person fed her, and slowly lured her into her back yard and barn. Scooter loved hanging with the horses and stayed on this property for almost 5 years. She was not brought inside the home.
She ran away in May, probably due to a thunderstorm, got picked up by Animal Control and her person thought she might be better off in a different home. We were asked to take her.
She has been groomed and is learning the routine here. She's a small Aussie at 36-38 pounds. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Mia NCAR#1035
Mia lives with her new brother, Parker in Auburn. Nice looking couple, dont you think?
Zoes owner surrendered her to the Bakersfield city shelter due to life style change. Zoe is 6 years old, heartworm negative, spayed and utd on shots.
She is happiest with her person and will play with friendly Aussies.
She alarm barks at strangers, so a quiet home is best and introductions to the home should be made on leash. Fostered in Grass Valley.
