Winston is a strapping 2.5 year old red tri with his tail. He?s about 64 pounds, neutered and UTD on his shots. His owners acquired him 4 months ago from a private party. He barks aggressively at strangers that come by the house, or into the house, so should be on leash when introductions are made - strangers need to ignore him, then he?ll solicit pets.

Owners have a business and Winston was too barky with clients coming in and out, plus they didn?t have time to exercise him, so asked us to rehome him. He loved going to doggy day care and he played nicely with all the dogs. He is not possessive of food or toys. He loves cats and playing ball and is doing very well at the Sanctuary. Finley is a 5-year-old blue merle boy who has led a sheltered life. He lived in a house with his family until this past March when his owner lost his house. Finn had no formal training, and was lured with food for everything, so his recall is pathetic! He has lived in a car with his owner since March.

He likes to play fetch, needs work on a leash because he gets scared easily and may bolt. He plays with the non-threatening Aussies here. He's house broken, came in a bit pudgy and is now down to 55 pounds. He was purchased as a puppy from a breeder in the Czech Republic and has incredible lineage. He needs several obedience classes and an owner who has the patience to work with him. No cats. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Nike is a healthy 14 year old black tri boy. He's 53 pounds, gentle, easy going and walks well on a leash. He loves to be petted and did fine with our groomer. He knows several commands and tricks.
He's ok with other dogs but NOT CATS. Nike got a dental in June and happy and healthy.
Nike"s owner is moving to Europe asked us to find Nike a great home. Nike needs a soft place to live in his remaining years - and is an easy keeper. Fostered in Grass Valley.

BANDI NCAR 2199
We have no history on Bandi as her owner died and there were no records. We do know that she likes people, is spayed, and our vet guesses 10-11 years young. We've updated her shots and given her a dental including blood work and she's 100% healthy!

She is down to 50 pounds and enjoys running with the dogs and will play fetch....but poops out soon. She's almost deaf, enjoys pets, liked her grooming and walks fine on leash. She guards her ball from other dogs, so she thinks the ball is pretty special! Yet, she plays tug of war with a stuffed toy with most dogs....go figure!
She would do best as an only dog, but does fine here with my crew.

She doesn't handle lots of stairs well...a few up to a deck or doorway is fine. She's stunning, loves people, including children, housebroken and easy-going. Fostered in Grass Valley.
