FOLKOR NCAR #
Folkor is a 4 year old boy who is loyal, riveted to his person and really isn't interested in playing with other dogs. He has some herding instincts, loves to ride in the car, is good on a leash, and lived with cats and another dog. He loves being groomed and jumped up on the grooming table like a pro. He's the quintessential companion Aussie. Fostered in Grass Valley.

COOPER NCAR #
Cooper will be 2 years old on September 3, 2020. He's a fun boy who hasn't received much attention or exercise since he was a young puppy. He's a nice boy who hasn't been exposed to many things, but comes around. He's housebroken and crate trained, but will find his own entertainment if left alone too long: Digs outside, gets into mischief inside. So far, his stay here has been uneventful and he's happy to play with most of our kids, or hang inside with them. He lived nicely with a cat and given the chance, will run around the neighborhood in his previous home. He must learn a good recall when off leash. Fostered in Grass Valley.

SHADOW NCAR #
Shadow will turn 2 on 11/15/2020. He was abandoned by his owner in the house he rented. The landlord took care of Shadow for a few weeks before taking him to the shelter in Oroville. Because Shadow is microchipped, we know his birthdate and his name. He wasn't neutered when we pulled him, but he is now! He's a goofy boy who loves to run and hop and will still try mounting some dogs but it's never aggressive and he stops quickly. He comes when called, knows how to sit and is fairly good on a leash. Unknown how he is with cats. Fostered in Grass Valley.

ROMAN NCAR #1141
We rescued Roman from a recently widowed woman who needed to move from her home and couldn't take Roman with her. She and her husband bought Roman as a puppy. Roman is 5 years old, and absolutely darling! He loves all people and children, other dogs and cats. He has the sweetest disposition and a huge personality! Can open doors with his paws or teeth!
He can get car sick, so we give him Cerenia before long trips. He walks well on a leash (uses an Easy Walk Harness) and is housebroken. He loves his stuffed toy and plays with it endlessly without tearing it apart. He came to us weighing 100 pounds and now weighs 60! He would do best getting running exericse daily.
FYI: Dogs with epilepsy can live long, happy lives. He's a darling boy who is VELCRO, and can open levered door handles to come inside to be with me. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Bodie NCAR #1157
BODIE #1157
Bo or Bodie is a 7 month old black tri boy with his tail who we rescued 4/21. He was raised in a house with a doggie door and his litter mate. He had never been out of the house or been on a leash. He's learning quickly, and will do best in a home that will give him gentle guidance as well as obedience classes so he'll grow up to be a confident, happy boy.
He can be bratty and mouthy, so a home with experienced adults and children over 12 recommended. Fostered in Grass Valley. Contact kim@norcalaussierescue.com

Tori NCAR #1157
Tori is a small 18 month old black tri girl. She is very sweet & cuddly once she's sitting next to you, but does not come when called! She lacks confidence and definitely prefers outside to inside...but once she's inside she'll chose a place in a corner to relax, but will cuddle on the couch if she wants. She is extremely timid, startles easily, and is unused to suburbia. She is fine with cats and other dogs, and will do best in a quiet home without children and with a playful, confident dog. Tori is not at all aggressive, and will be a sweet companion for someone who is patient, keeps expectations low, and is willing to take a lot of time with this her by keeping her close and on a leash. She likes water, and likes to explore on her own and needs great fencing. Fostered in Grass Valley.
